Dr. Christina Nye Photo Dr. Christina Nye grew up in Great Falls, Montana and graduated with high honors from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. She earned her Medical Degree with honors from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Nye completed a residency in Ophthalmology at The Ohio State University and then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Columbus Children’s Hospital. She has been practicing ophthalmology in Spokane since 1999.

Dr. Nye is board certified in Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Washington State Medical Association, The Washington Association of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and The Spokane County Medical Society.

Dr. Caroline Shea Photo

Dr. Caroline Shea grew up on the east coast outside of Morristown, New Jersey. She obtained her medical degree with honors from Northwestern University Medical School’s combined BS/MD program. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland and went on to a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at The Children’s Hospital of Denver and the University of Colorado. She was an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado from 1998 to 2003.

Dr. Shea is board certified in Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Smith Photo Dr. Quinn Smith grew up in Tennessee and earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Smith completed an internal medicine residency at Dartmouth and completed his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University. He has been a practicing comprehensive ophthalmologist since 1991. Prior to joining Northwest Pediatric Ophthalmology, Dr. Smith practiced in the Tri-Cities where he was the primary ophthalmologist providing pediatric services in this area. He now looks forward to providing specialized care exclusively to children and adults with eye muscle problems in our region.

Dr. Smith is board certified in Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Washington State Medical Association and the Spokane County Medical Society.
